Mini-forums and other events planned for Honmoku area

The usual Honmoku
Honmoku is a great place, right?! I'm sure everyone has heard that. But the next words are, "it's convenient for transportation! " JR trains run from Yokohama Station to Sakuragicho, Kannai, Ishikawacho, Yamate, and then Negishi. The Shuto Expressway has the Honmoku Interchange nearby, and it takes less than 20 minutes to get to Haneda. Yamashita Park, Chinatown, and Minato Mirai Park are all nearby, but tourists don't come all the way to Honmoku. Honmoku is a comfortable town if you have a car. But now, commuters and students who rely on public transportation are facing problems.

Anxiety about the future
Honmoku is not far from Motomachi, famous for its fashion brands, Chinatown bustling with tourists, Yamashita Park, and Yamate and Minato Mirai Park, areas that are a must-see for those looking for a walk. Honmoku also has many tourist attractions, but Sankeien Garden in particular is a city-run tourist spot that is visited by many people throughout the year. Honmoku is also a town with an aging population. Even if you can drive now, you never know what the future holds. You'll need to walk to go shopping at Yokohama Station, Sakuragicho, Kannai, and Motomachi.

A step towards resolution
For example, what can be done to alleviate the inconvenience of public transportation?
Increase bus services.
Articulated buses and double-decker buses are operated.
People go out and travel for various reasons, not just to commute to work or school, but also to go to a medical institution, go shopping, etc. Sometimes there are no such reasons, and sometimes people travel only one section.
